About warranty

We provide long-term warranties and after-sales services such as nationwide maintenance support so that our customers can use our products with a peace of mind for a long time.

5-year warranty

For Bosch dishwashers, all repairs and other costs related to machine breakdowns and malfunctions will be free of charge for five years from the date of delivery . *Based on our free repair regulations.

About repairs

Please read the "Troubleshooting" and "Error Messages" sections in the product instruction manual and double-check the contents before requesting for repair service. If there is still a problem after checking, please do not attempt to repair the product yourself; instead, be sure to contact your retailer, designated service store, or our after-sales service center.

  • Repairs during the warranty period epairs will be made based on the contents of the free repair regulations.
  • Repairs after the warranty period if the functionality of the product can be maintained or restored through repair, we will repair it for a fee upon request.
  • Minimum retention period for spare parts for repair is 6 years after discontinuation of production.

*Spare parts are parts necessary to maintain the functionality of the product.

Free repair policy

In the unlikely event that a failure or damage occurs during normal use by the customer, we will provide free repairs based on the details listed below.

1. If a malfunction or damage occurs during the warranty period from the date of delivery, please present the warranty card and request repair to the retailer. Please note that when we perform on-site repairs, including to remote locations such as remote islands, we will generally charge the actual transportation costs required for the trip.

2. The following cases are not covered by the warranty even within the warranty period.

  • (a) Failure to fill out, falsify, or fail to present the required information on the warranty;
  • (b) Failure or damage due to errors in use or disassembly, modification, or repair of the product by the customer.
  • (c) Failure or damage caused by natural disasters, abnormal voltage, living things, or other external factors.
  • (d) Failure or damage caused by failure to follow the warnings and precautions in the instruction manual.
  • (e) Failure or damage caused by use with a power source other than the dedicated power source.
  • (f) Malfunctions and damage caused by use outside Japan.
  • (g) Failure or damage caused by changing the installation location, transportation, dropping, etc. after purchase.
  • (h) Malfunctions and damage caused when used for purposes other than general household use.
  • (i) Breakdowns and damage caused by construction design and construction that deviate from the contents described in the construction manual, etc.
  • (j) Failure or damage caused by deterioration, failure, poor construction, etc. of the building or housing equipment in which the product is installed.
  • (k) Malfunctions and damage caused by rust, etc. in the refrigerator after the product has been used.
  • (l) Breakdowns and damage caused by using water that cannot be used as drinking water during water quality tests and not using a water softener.

3. The warranty is valid only within Japan.

4. Warranty certificates will not be reissued. Please keep it in a safe place so that you do not lose it.

*The warranty guarantees free repairs during the period and under the conditions specified in the free repair regulations. Therefore, this warranty does not limit your legal rights.
